One
big thing that sets us apart from our competition is the sheer
variety of styles we’re comfortable with. From vocal
jazz to UK-style electronic dance, from old-time rock and
roll to Scottish funeral music, we don’t just fake it,
we nail it. It’s because we love all kinds of music,
and because we’re only truly happy when a client asks
us to do something we’ve never done before. Take the
time to download some of these MP3 samples, and you’ll
see what we mean.
If you're unable to hear audio on the internet where you are,
or would rather have a hard copy of our music, click on "contact
us" and fill out the form to request one of our demos
on CD.
Note: You may need to option-click the MP3 links
to force your web browser to download the files rather than
attempt to play them.

A new jingle for northern Indiana’s most successful group of eye surgeons. We communicate caring and personal attention without having to say it... Just by drawing a picture of why the patient’s sight is so important. This will be on the air starting in June 2004.

Belongs To You Client: Midwest America Federal Credit Union
The stock credit union claim is, “Trust us… after all, you are part owner when you join.” But who has said it as elegantly as “When you belong to Midwest America, Midwest America belongs to you.” This full-blown group vocal is one of Fort Wayne’s best-known musical IDs.

Big Food, L’il Money Client: Hacienda Mexican Restaurants
A throwback to a simpler time, this stinger open has the audacity to announce that an ad is coming. This, and its companion closer (with the lyric “See ya real soon at Hacienda”) was used to bookend Hacienda’s surreal and multi-award winning radio campaign.
City Streets Client: Lincoln Financial Group
When they called us to postscore their new recruitment and orientation videos, Lincoln said, “We want to sound urban, fresh and hip, but also traditional, strong and grounded.” So we blended electronic beats with jazz chords and orchestral instruments to create a new urban soundscape. This excerpt is an edit of one of the main themes from the score.

Convergence Client: ASPN
ASPN is a unique company that provides marketing services for a group of medium-sized specialty insurance companies. This music was part of the score for a video shown at their first conference. They wanted a fast-paced score that combined a southwestern “desert” feel, a “telegraph” main theme and an overall “entrace into the coliseum” attitude. Here it is.

Does It All! Client: Korte Electric Co.
Everyone knows them as furnace guys. How to best communicate that they do plumbing and electrical work, too? This song does it. “If it’s hidden in the floor or the ceiling or the wall...” Client was so happy this tune is the only audio in their new TVCs.

Get Happy! Client: STAR Bank
Agency HPN decided that STAR’s new high-interest CD made people feel happy. We helped them negotiate the rights, then wrote the arrangement and recorded this swingin’ version of the Harold Arlen classic.

Where Great Things Happen Client: First Bank of Carmi
First Bank wanted an anti-jingle: a song that expressed the feeling one of their southern Illinois customers might have for their home town. The only direction was to make it emotional, personal, and to use their existing slogan as the last line. Check both versions: one geared to female and the other to male listeners.

It's Festival Time! Client: Three Rivers Festival
A Fort Wayne favorite, this rollicking N'orleans jam was originally written over two decades ago, and reborn in this version in 2008. We heard you missed it, so it's back.. laissez les bon temps roullez!

Mindscape Client: Optima Systems
Optima creates training videos for psychiatrists. Their video producer was looking for music for a new series, and needed themes, bumpers, tags and transitional pieces which would communicate the mystery of the brain without sounding “spooky” or heavy-handed. The themes from this 2:15 piece were the foundation for the entire music package.

You Never Know What You’ll Find Client: The Bookmark
Based on a simple line the client had used in print advertising for years, this full-sing jingle paints a picture of the atmosphere at your nearby Bookmark store. Easily one of our catchiest tunes; running for less just over a year, you can ask anyone in any Fort Wayne grocery store or teller line to sing it, and they will.
Old Timey Client: See Description

Playing To Win Client: Discover Card
For their annual sales meeting, Discover wanted to fire up their sales force with the kind of “we can do anything” feeling they had years back. This arena rock tune, used in videos throughout the show, did the trick.

The Spirit Of Rock and Roll Client: Arnold's Drive-In
Arnold’s is a local fave, filled to overflowing with great diner food and an amazing collection of 50s and 60s memorabilia. So, you treat it like a theme park, right? Wrong. You sing about the food, and let the tune carry the ambience. Arnold’s liked this approach so much they rejected a competitor’s song they could have had for free to buy this one. No kidding.

Surf Hard, Surf Fast Client: Time/Warner Cable, San Diego
If you want people to surf the Internet along the California coast, there’s only one choice for the music, and this is it. Classic mid-60’s surf music gets an “extreme” update for this set of promotional TVC’s.

The Giving Season Client: MC Sports
We produced a huge package of music for Midwest regional sporting goods retailer MC Sports, including a pop/rock jingle package, a bluegrass version of the song for use by their hunting and camper center stores, and this traditional jazz vocal version, reminding folks that sporting goods make nice holiday gifts. Our favorite vocal arrangement to date.

The Right Direction Client: Ossian State Bank
How do you walk a demographic line between young and old, between rural and urban, between established small town customers and the young southwest couples and singles you’re going for? For Ossian State Bank, we created this breezy amalgam of pop, rock and soft jazz. On radio and TV, it fits any message and frames their theme line in an unforgettable hook.

Today, Tomorrow, Together Client: Merillat Cabinets

We're On A Roll Client: International Truck
Written for a live conference, this song communicates the culture at the “new” International Truck in a direct and personal way. A big hit at their 2003 conference, they like it so well they asked us to come and perform it live at their 2004 conference, where we tore the place up.
Download in MP3 format: We're On A Roll.mp3 (3.9 MB)
Windshield Wisdom Theme Client: Lincoln Financial
Every month, the Lincoln wholesale force gets a CD newsletter called “Windshield Wisdom.” They wanted a grinding, classic rock tune for the intro, and we cooked this straight ahead Southern-tinged jam, along with a complete package of stingers and bumps.
Download in MP3 format: Windshield.mp3 (1.8 MB)
Workhorse Video Score Client: International Truck
International was introducing a new panel truck called The Workhorse. This track, based on a bouncy earworm of an acoustic guitar figure, underscored shots of the new truck in action in a wide variety of commercial applications. We’ll be posting video samples soon.
Download in MP3 format: Workhorse.mp3 (2.7 MB)
Your Bank, Your Life Client: Crossroads Bank
The goal here was to create a piece of music that was at once folky and sophisticated, down-home but uptown. The solution is an elegant one, not only instrumentally but in the artful hook, which makes their sig line "Where Your Bank and Your life Meet" sound like a completely natural phrase to sing.
